A before and an after

I have a table here that the kids use for all manner of things. it's done rather well for how old it is. this table my parents bought and was used by my now 15yr old niece. Over time with the hard cleaning it's had the paint had become rather worn and the table was looking tired and well worn.

So I gave it new life with a fun function apart from being a table. The kids now love it.

I first painted with some ceiling paint I had in the garage around the edges and on the legs. Then once that was dry some blackboard paint then once that was dry a coat of clear laquer over the blue so it could be easily wiped clean for those messy times. I did the chairs in the same blue.
