I'm bit of a lover of vintage buttons. I often find myself on my knees searching through tins and jars etc looking for buttons that apeal to me.
Many of my finds have been found in one of a few places in my locality.
I've found that the best place to get buttons that are true vintage are in obscure parts of local antique stores. They usually are hidden in a corner out of your immediate view.
I also have spent at one time over an hour going through the tins and boxes of the haberdashery lot at Frou Frou........my poor knees and back that day.
All in all finding such delights is always rewarding.
I've even come across some that have never been in cerculation at a place called Mr Pickwicks in Katoomba.
