The girls are happy girls!

Well the little ladies of the feathered kind are settled nicely into their new home.
The pecking order was worked out rather quickly.

Miss Lucy is at the top of the ladder very closely followed by Kissy who often likes to think of herself as boss.In reality she hides behind the wing of Lucy at any chance and lets Lucy dish it out.
Penny-Lee is bit of a prissy one always strutting about fluffing up her feathers, stands tall at any oportunity.

Henny is rather timid and hides up in the nesting box anytime it looks like trouble could even be in the air.
We worked out also that straw up top is not a good and easy option. So wood shavings is the go.

They have had a few free ranging days on one occassion they got from the early morning to after dark.

The kids love them to bits. Especially Jaedyn he sits and watches them and gets excited over them when they are really moving about.


Now the waiting for the eggs to start being layed.
