First to be leave the sewing table was a little shorts and shirt set. For the shorts I used a white with apple print. When Jazynthe first noticed I was cutting out patterns from this fabric she said wow yummy fabric. The shirt was a store bought red shirt from Kmart. It took me a while to find the appropiate apple shape to use. I found a great site called www.about.com it has a home school colouring book used for teaching kids to write and their alphabet. After cutting out the apple shape I decided to take it one step further and add the letter A to the back. Jazynthe thinks this is fantastic and made it into a game the whole day she wore it. Jumping around showing you her back saying "A is for" then jumps around showing the front saying "APPLE".

The next one to leave the sewing table was a cute little apple print dress. This was the one she really waited for. I ran out of the green thread I was using to add a little accent to it. She wore it to playgroup today running around showing it of and showing everyone how she was able to twirl around in it.
